Amisha Mehtani, AMFT
Amisha enjoys working with individuals, couples and families, and uses a humanistic approach and systemic lens to guide her work with clients. While working with couples, she employs Sue Johnson’s Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to de-escalate conflicts, create safety in the relationship and help couples form a new way of connecting. In addition, Amisha integrates TEAM-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients work through held beliefs that may be causing their suffering.
We begin to experience problems in our lives when we feel “stuck.” Through attunement, reflective listening, validating, and building a strong therapeutic alliance, Amisha helps clients work through this “stuck” place and find solutions.
