Vilma Argueta, LMFT
Vilma’s approach to client therapy begins with connection and understanding. Through her work with adults, couples, and families, she understands that their past and present experiences are key to successful therapeutic outcomes. Families learn how to build more meaningful connections and acquire skills to help them restore balance in their relationships.
Her work focuses on creating a holistic path of empathy, curiosity, and openness that allows clients to engage in the therapy process that works best for them.
She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems (Structural, Solution-Focused), Attachment Theory, and Harm Reduction Therapy. She also likes to incorporate meditation, journaling, and mindfulness practices in her work.
Vilma is a native San Franciscan, Latina, and a single mother with a passion for learning. Her culture aligns and unites through socializing, and her resilient nature pushes her to challenge herself continually.
